IGO is now an established and competitive organisation on a national and international level, providing the contract manufacture of biocides and monitor traps for domestic and commercial use, but our story began very differently.
IGO was founded in the 1960s as a paper converter specialising in the production of packaging for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and herbalist industries, thus developing considerable know-how in this sector. It was only in the 1990s that we changed direction with diffusers, adding biocides to our repertoire in 2004, on obtaining recognition as a Medical and Surgical Device Manufacturer.
However, our decades of experience in paper technology are still very valuable to our company today, not only because they form part of our history, but also because these skills are still put into practice.
On the one hand, the production of biocides and monitor traps is accompanied by different packaging solutions for their subsequent sale, combining new and traditional know-how to offer an efficient and attractive product.
On the other hand, we have IGO Packaging, a division dedicated to the development of cutting-edge paper converting solutions.
Thanks to the experience gained since the 1960s, which has enabled us to acquire expertise and technical knowledge, we are able to offer innovative and customised solutions of an unrivalled quality.
This know-how is put to the disposal of the client for the production of printed products in small and medium-size formats, products for commercial use and publications, packaging and display units, made with finishes that enhance the details.
We deal with:
- Pre-printing procedures with the processing and management of artwork by an experienced and knowledgeable team, with prototyping for preliminary customer assessment.
- Printing with the use of offset technology, heat transfer printing, gloss or matte lamination, flat or relief effects and UV varnishing.
- Die-cutting and gluing with results conforming to dimensional specifications.
